Hello lovely people
Here is a question for you: has absolutely everything in your life been bad since you became widowed or lost a loved one?
Or have a few things been good as well?
Is there any chance, however remote, that you appreciated the good because you have experienced the bad?
Death is a natural part of the cycle of life. And that is not the only cycle. Just look at the world around you.
There is a cycle of night and day, the cycle of the seasons, the digestive and menstrual cycles of your body, and I could go on about htis.
OK, those are the cycles in nature, but what do they have to do with death and bereavement?
Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and noticed how dark it was? Have you ever then woken up in the morning and appreciated the sunlight? If you do not really think about appreciating the sunlight, then maybe you are missing the point here.
At times part of our life path is to experience the dark, so that when then light comes, we are grateful for the light, but also for the dark which made us appreciate the light.
I am sure if you look deep enough, you will find a number of things that you now apppreciate because of yoour bereavement experience.
Love and Light
